I remember being a kid and watching the adults around me learn how to play Nintendo.

The controller didn't seem to fit as easily into adult-sized hands, and what took me three seconds took them 30. While some adults gave up, I remember that others stuck it out. They learned how to jump onto the mushrooms and collect the coins. They defeated the monster and saved the princess. I decided long ago that when it was my turn to be an adult, I wanted to be the kind who embraced technology. I wanted to learn new things.

This is the reason I've joined Substack and plan to post my new blogs and devotionals over there. Not only is the platform giving me nostalgia from the early days of Wordpress blogs, it's connecting me with a new community of writers who are also eager to write and share.
