This website is a personal blog that may collect your data while you’re browsing. Your information may come in the form of your name and email (if you subscribe to get emails and updates, or if you comment.) Your email will be housed in Mailchimp; you may unsubscribe at any time. If you no longer want the emails, let me know.

Google Analytics is also installed on the site, which means you’re still anonymous to me, but I can see general information about the location people come from to find me, how they find this website, which pages and posts they read, and how long they stay. This doesn’t tell me anything about you as a user, but if you’re ever wondering what’s going on “behind the scenes” of this website – this is it.

Any information you ever trust me with – name, email, story, etc. – will be kept confidential, never shared or sold. I’d hate it if someone did that to me, so I will treat you how I want to be treated.

Sponsored Posts Policy

This blog accepts compensation for sponsored posts; however, all opinions written are my own. Certain product information may be included to meet regulations. I follow the FTC’s Endorsement Guidelines for all sponsored content posted on this blog and social media outlets. All sponsored content will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

This blog also follows Google’s guidelines for link schemes and only offers “no follow” links in any sponsored content. (However, this blog offers good advice for the value of no follow links.)

Although I may be compensated for sponsored content, I will only write about something if I’ve tried it. All content will detail the actual experience, honest feedback and personal findings regarding the product. If I didn’t like it – you’ll know. (This is also written into my contracts – if it doesn’t work out or I don’t recommend it, I don’t write the content and show I endorse the product. End of story.) Any claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product should be directed to the party in question (manufacturer, provider, supplier, etc.), which will be fully disclosed on all sponsored content.
